Postnatal exercise

Focus on Core Strength
Postnatal exercise is an essential part of recovery and well-being for new mothers after giving birth. However, it's crucial to wait until your healthcare provider gives you the green light to start exercising after childbirth. Typically, it's recommended to wait until your postpartum checkup, which usually happens around 6 weeks after delivery.
Aerobic Exercise: Low-impact exercises such as walking, swimming, or stationary cycling can improve cardiovascular health without putting too much strain on your body.
Strength Training: Gradually introduce light resistance training to build strength. Focus on major muscle groups but avoid heavy weights initially.
Yoga and Pilates: These can help improve flexibility, posture, and core strength. There are specific postnatal yoga and Pilates classes that cater to the needs of new mothers.
